We got the girls all dressed up in Christmas outfits for Mom-o and Catfish's Christmas card. We used the scenery on our neighbor Brian and Deb's yard! Thanks guys!

Apple Dumplins

My childhood best buddy Paula Barnard and her mom Itsy came over this week and made Apple Dumplings with Mika and Abby. The girls were so excited about baking with them and then tasting the finished product! We will have to make this a Thanksgiving Tradition! They were involved in the entire process, mixing, peeling and coring and baking. Don't those dumplin's look great? I bet G.G. Dorthy would be proud of those!

Happy Birthday Abby!

Abby had quite the birthday celebration. I made fish and chips for dinner and Marge and Marina came over to celebrate with a Chocolate Mayonnaise cake no less! On Friday we headed down to Big Sur to New Camaldali Monastery with Cyprian. We had spectacular views, a great birthday hike and grilled cheese sandwiches and another chocolate cake!

Gosh! We have been busy since Halloween! Cross Country meets, Birthdays and a trip or two! Evie is now 5 months old, cut two teeth and is crawling! Abby turned 4 on Nov. 17th and we took a weekend trip to Big Sur! What fun!

Halloween in La Selva Beach

We had a rockin' Halloween, Mimi paid big bucks to hire a band across the street and we enjoyed the music from a far! We had a big crowd to enjoy traditional soup and hotdogs! The girls got a jump on the Trick or Treating with their best buds and came home cold and bearing filled treat bags.

Preschool with Abby

I worked in Abby's preschool class on the day of their Halloween Party! It was so cute to see all of the kids dressed up. They got to Trick or Treat and had a yummy lunch provided by the parents. Both Abby and teacher Kathy were Minnie Mouse!

Jim and Ashley came and met us up at Crystal Springs since it was so close to home. The girls got to play and Jim got to see a few of his former athletes compete. We took the girls down to the park for some play time and Auntie Michelle brought us all lunch!
On Sunday Auntie Lisa and Ryan came for dinner! Ryan cooked up steaks and chicken in the dark with the head lamp guiding him!

GO PILOTS!

Abby's Godfather Jeff Gill and his cross country team from the Univ. Of Portland came to Crystal Springs(my all time favorite course) to compete in the WCC Championships. The Pilots took home the title and we had a great time cheering for Jeff and visiting with his Awesome family! Abby was espically excited to see her Godfather run!

Since Mika is at school all day she has been getting no love on the Blog! We decided to have a photo shoot with her in her Wonder Woman Costume.

Evie's Baptism

On Saturday, October 20th we baptised Evie at the Holy Cross Chapel in Santa Cruz. We asked our very best friends Cyprian and Marina to be Evie's Godparents. It was a fun celebration, Evie screamed through the whole ceremony! Of course my dad forgot his camera and so did my mom and my sister in law. So I have like one good picture!

Halloween, Halloween, Trick or Treat!

Our good friend Gabe Summers from our Mom's group invited all of us over for a Halloween party! The kids got to Trick or Treat and have lunch and play in their awesome play room! A good time was had by all! We got as many as we could for a group picture, but you know how toddlers go. We lost one on a nose dive off the couch, Luci wasn't up for it and the babes couldn't support themselves!
